Inspired by the luminosity and textural qualities of Oil and Cold Wax medium, Karin boldly abstracts her subjects with unique compositions and complex color. Whether she’s creating an abstract non-objective, still life, or
landscape, her intention is to offer a unique experience leaving openings for the viewer to fill. Merging abstract and representational elements are her specialty.

Awarded the President’s Purchase Award and BFA degree from North Georgia College and University in Art and Music, Karin’s artwork is held in public and private collections worldwide.

Karin is painting full-time in her new studio in Alpharetta, Georgia and reemerging the Art scene after a career in finance. She recently achieved “Associate with Distinction” 2021 status with American Women Artists, after her jury into the National Juried Exhibition, “Lifting the Sky”.
