Powered by the vision and mission of the Alpha Arts Guild, The Scene Art Gallery is a arts destination dedicated exclusively to showcasing, promoting, and selling work by Georgia-based artists.

 

Founded over 15 years ago, the Alpha Arts Guild is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural arts organization committed to advancing the visual arts, supporting working artists, and strengthening Georgia’s creative economy. The Scene Art Gallery serves as the Guild’s public-facing hub where art meets community, collectors discover new talent, and creatives thrive.

Located on the second level of North Point Mall, The Scene features 6,000 square feet of prime retail exhibition space and an additional 5,000 square feet of workshop and open studio space—creating a vibrant, energetic environment for both artists, art lovers and collectors. With 50+ visitors daily, the gallery offers exceptional visibility, consistent foot traffic, and real opportunity for sales and connection.

If you are a Georgia based artists, we invite you to apply to be one of our consigned members.

Once accepted, your artwork is displayed and sold in the gallery, and you only pay a commission when your work sells. Benefits include:

New in 2026: Open Studios, Workshops & Special Events

The Scene Art Gallery expands its role as a cultural hub with open studio workshops, immersive creative experiences, and expanded special event programming all designed to engage artists, collectors, and the broader community. With capacity for up to 200 guests, our gallery provides a one-of-a-kind art-filled setting that transforms any gathering into a memorable experience.

The Paint Around Experience

Each Spotlight Show Saturday | 4:00 – 5:30 PM

A select group of artists (6) will take part in a live, collaborative “Paint Around”—where canvases rotate every few minutes and each artist adds their unique voice to works in progress. Subject matter of the paintings will be consistent with the theme of the Spotlight Shows. What begins as individual expression evolves into a series of layered, one-of-a-kind pieces created in real time.

"Lighting In Photo, Film, Paint" Workshop by Mark Simon 

Join cinematographer, photographer, lamp maker, screenwriter, producer, and documentarian Mark Simon in his new workshop teaching the importance and study of light in photography, film, and painting. Classes will be held at The Scene Art Gallery in North Point Mall. Click here to Register

  • September 19th 5:30-7:30PM: "Creative Curveball: The Unconventional & Unexpected " Spotlight Show
    Art that refuses to follow the usual path. This showcase celebrates work that breaks norms, bends expectations, and surprises the viewer in ways that feel fresh and daring. Think pieces that challenge familiar rules of form, medium, or meaning and that lean into experimentation, oddity, or risk. Whether it uses surprising materials, unpredictable concepts, or perspectives that flip the familiar inside out, this month is all about the thrill of encountering something truly original.   • October 17th 5:30-7:30PM: "Year 3000: The Future of Art " Spotlight Show
    Imagine a world a thousand years from now where creativity has evolved alongside technology, culture, and the human experience. This theme invites artists to explore what expression might look like in the distant future, from new materials and hybrid mediums to entirely new artistic languages shaped by innovation. The work might be utopian, dystopian, or something in between, but it should offer a glimpse into how art could transform as humanity continues to change.     This month celebrates indulgence in all its visual forms. Think lush color, rich texture, intricate detail, and imagery that satisfies the senses with abundance and delight. The theme invites artists to explore what feels decadent, comforting, or irresistible to look at. Whether the work evokes the warmth of something nourishing or the thrill of something extravagant, this showcase is about creating pieces that feel generous and full.   • December 19th 5:30-7:30PM: A Few Of My Favorite Things: A Piece Close To Your Heart
    End the year with the piece that feels like your defining moment. This theme invites artists to share the work that represents their personal best, whether it is technically impressive, emotionally resonant, or simply the piece that feels closest to their artistic identity. It is a chance to look back on the year, choose the creation that stands tallest, and let it shine as a final statement.
