Ukrainian-born artist Nata, now Atlanta-based, draws inspiration for her work in nature, dance and the beauty of femininity. As a child growing up in  Kiev, she tried to escape the dreary, monochromatic reality through art. Pursuing her dream of becoming a professional artist, Nata earned academic degrees from the Art Academy of Ukraine and the University of Pittsburgh, where she mastered watercolor, oil, pastel, and other painting techniques.

Later in life Nata became a competitive ballroom dancer, but she never gave up painting. Now, she brings about a perfect marriage of her two passions. Her appreciation for movement and music perfectly translates onto canvas.
Beautiful women who are not afraid to express their sexuality through dance. Bold, unapologetic colors, inspired by Latin American folklore. The use of texture, fabric and glitter is her signature touch. When asked what painting means to her, Nata unreservedly replies, “Art is a love of my life. For me, it’s a meditative process that fills me with energy and happiness."

But this is only a part of her narrative. Nata has also cultivated an interest in the fascinating world of animals and nature during her travels to various exotic corners of the world, such as South Africa and the Caribbean.
