Cindy Flynn is a native of Atlanta. Cindy enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Georgia and the South. She sees creation as a special gift which we have the
to explore, celebrate, study, and enjoy.  Her favorite past time is sitting still in nature and seeing what new treasure is revealed. She hopes to show others the gift and creativity of nature in each of her paintings.

 

Cindy studied at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Art Education with a concentration in 3 dimensional work. She taught elementary and middle school students art for over 20 years. She has painted murals for nurseries and playrooms as well as designed and  created jewelry pieces using various metals. Cindy dove into oil painting when she left her teaching career and has studied under multiple painters. Cindy’s hope is to to use her God given talents, her continued study, and her love of nature to point others to the beauty and creativity that surrounds us each day but is often overlooked.  

 

Her palette knife paintings have been well received and in demand. Her collection Southern Scapes sold out quickly and jump started her career as a professional artist. She has done numerous commission paintings in both palette knife and brush on canvas. She loves the relationship that develops as she creates unique work for her clients! It is a joy to go on the journey with them!

 

Her work can be seen in several locations in Roswell, Ga as well as Athens, Ga. She is always at her easel creating new and exciting work. She also accepts commissions several times a year.
