I discovered the joys and the ability to create in the art world late in life. I’ve taken a few classes but mostly have been self-taught with some encouragement with a few local classes. 

 
I love to work in acrylics because of the speed with which you can create and change what you are working on . Recreating landscapes and ocean-themed pictures are what I have been drawn to.

 

I love painting vacation mementos for myself and others.

 

It’s exciting to learn from other artists — their techniques and styles, plus, being able to recognize their works and personalities in their art. Being part of the Alpha Arts Guild has given me that.
