Pat has had a lifelong passion for art and design, but her creative painting journey began just 8 years ago.  Focusing on abstract expressionism, her work has been exhibited in the Atlanta area and Amelia Island, Florida.  Pat is basically a self-taught artist, but she has gained support and encouragement from various classes and workshops.  She embraces the freedom of abstract painting and loves edgy composition and experimenting with a variety of textures, colors and unpredictable brush strokes.  She works primarily in acrylics and mixed media elements; her palette is full of contrast and luminosity.  Mistakes are common, but often result in a burst of imagination and energy.  It is the joy of discovery that inspires Pat, and she hopes her work will inspire others to explore and create.​
