After a successful career as a university professor and academic author, I relocated to the southeast with my husband in 2012. I have been fortunate to find a supportive and stimulating environment here for creating art. I specialize in contemporary and traditional paper art, created with quilled (rolled and shaped) and cut paper. I also work in alcohol ink, acrylics, and watercolor. I especially enjoy the challenges of representing natural subject matter in an unusual way. The shapes and textures of flora, fauna, and landscapes provide frequent inspiration. I exhibit and sell my paper art in several galleries in the Atlanta and Hilton Head, SC, areas.
